First Harvest!

We have a radish!

It’s still pretty early for most of the veggies we’ve planted, but the radishes, being early plantings, are about ready. We picked the first of the French Breakfast radishes, and it was big! It was very spicy, spicier than the mass produced radishes you would get at a store or resteraunt.

I think the radishes will be great in a salad with a little light dressing. We’ve got a bunch m ore still in the ground so we should be able to try soon.
